The study was conducted with the main objective, effect of psychosocial therapy on academic achievement of students with ADHD. Experimental research design was used for the study. Pre-test post-test experimental design was used for the comparison of symptom scores and academic achievement scores before and after psychosocial therapy.Vanderbilt assessment scale was used for diagnosing ADHD symptoms, sixty students were diagnosed with ADHD out of 953 in a government school of Bannu. on the basis of symptom scores and academic achievement, two groups i.e. experimental and control groups were formed. The expected behavioral changes in symptoms and academic achievement scores were compared after therapy with t-test at 0.05 level of significance. Positive psychological effects of the behavior Psychosocial Therapyand in students’ academic achievement in different subjects were determined accordingly.
